Boris Becker was born on November 22, 1967, in Leimen, a town in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. He was the only son of Elvira and Karl-Heinz Becker. His father, an architect, founded the tennis center Blau-Weiss Tennisklub in Leimen, where Boris was introduced to tennis at a very young age.
